Artist Spotlight: Nick Podgurski
Nick Podgurski is an artist, writer, musician, and educator living in New York City. He was born in Maryland and is the founder of the musical group Feast of the Epiphany. He also runs a publishing house called New Firmament, which produces a wide range of creative work, including music, illustrations, writing, and lectures. Nick has worked with many talented artists, including Lydia Lunch and Charlie Looker.
Nick is fascinated by patterns, contradictions, and deep meanings. He explores these ideas through various art forms, enjoying complex questions and mystical concepts.
The pieces showcased here are digital versions of his illustrations.
Currently, Nick is giving a lecture on creativity called Developing Vision. He’s also editing a multimedia project featuring the artwork of Canadian artist June Gutman and is writing his first poetry book with original illustrations. Additionally, he’s working on a large exhibition set to take place in 2025 with Feast of the Epiphany and other collaborators.
