Fev Buchanan is an interdisciplinary artist who uses their body to explore the complexities of being human—particularly in relation to the political and social challenges connected to womanhood and identity. Their work delves into the uneasy spaces between life and death, growth and decay, driven by a curiosity about how our environments influence what thrives and what fades away.

Fascinated by time and its cycles, Fev has embraced a practice of letting go, allowing nature to guide their work and reflecting this approach in how they navigate uncertainty. Through sculptural performances, photography, collage, and site-specific installations, Fev redefines how context shifts perception, challenging the way spaces are experienced. For Fev, art is a continuous conversation between their inner landscape and the shared external world—a medium for processing complex emotions and ideas.
